Wade graduated with a law degree with honours at the University of Exeter in England and attended a legal studies course at the University of Hong Kong. Since then, he travels regularly between Canada, Hong Kong, and Mainland China. Prior to joining Shim Law, Wade was a legal assistant at a Hong Kong regional law firm.

Since settling into Canada, Wade has completed the National Committee on Accreditation exams and has stayed with Shim Law since then.
Wade focuses on criminal law, family law, and civil litigation. During his articles, in particular, Wade has accrued experience in domestic violence issues in both areas of family and criminal law, and is able to provide sound advice and resolution in these areas.
Wade is enthusiastic about meeting new challenges and solving problems. Outside of law, he enjoys giving back to the local community, having a good time, and making new friends.
马玮培出生于香港。由于他会常定期往返于加拿大、香港和中国大陆地区之间，因此，他会说流利的普通话以及粤语。马玮培曾毕业于英国埃克塞特大学并获得法律学位，随后亦在香港大学修读法律进阶课程。 在加入 Shim Law 之前，马玮培亦曾在一家香港区域知名律师事务所担任法律助理。
马玮培专注从事刑法、家庭法和民事诉讼等法律领域。在担任实习律师之时，马玮培在家庭法和刑法法律领域积累了处理家庭暴力问题的经验，并且能够在这些法律领域提供合理的建议和解决方案。
他热衷于迎接新挑战和解决问题。 在业余生活中，他也热心回馈于卡城的华人社区。
